Days 33 - 35: Rest Days!

Because we were at Rafa's house in Crested Butte, we decided to spend a few days hanging around relaxing and enjoying the high country.

What soon became known as Camp Rafa included lots of fun activities: archery, river rafting, slack rope walking, and eating CONSTANTLY. We watched the new Batman movie, and relaxed a bunch.

Thanks to Rafa and Molly for their amazing and generous hospitality. We had a great time!

Hey Anderson, I am really enjoying reading about your adventures on this BBR! Your writing is so entertaining...Too bad I didn't know ahead of time, but Angela Froehlich is in Gunnison visiting her son. What a small world! Enjoy these rest days and the time with your bro.

love love love seeing you have so much fun. Wish i were you, or better yet, wish I were with you. What a great way to get to know my cool cousin Ceci better. Of course I wouldn't want you to clam up and not be yourself around me, so instead I'll just have to live vicariously through your blog. And since I'm living vicariously, how nice it was seeing Rafa too! Sorry you're not in Cali anymore, but I don't think you are (sorry that is). The thought of you just a couple hundred miles South will be sorely missed. Never did get to actually visit you in San Diego. Guess I'm as bad as Rafa, or maybe worse since I'm closer. Keep having fun out there for the rest of us slackers!

Colorado, a great place for R&R. You'll fly the rest of the way to DC with a welcome tail-wind. You're fun factor is HUGE, I want you to come on my next X-C trip...What are you doing next Sept.??
